My mommy was a hefty cigarette smoker. When my mom was passing away of lung cancer cells in palliative treatment, I made a number of illustrations of her. I might not consider the sketches for numerous years, and afterwards, I produced a silkscreen regarding loss called “Never Easy”. This animation is based upon the image from that print.
My mother died of lung cancer in 1993; it took me another 6 years to effectively give up smoking cigarettes myself. “Caveat emptor” is launched under the Creative Commons Canada 2.5 license, some legal rights reserved.
